Spendmio Labs Pte. Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Spendmio: Budget Tracker application (the "App").

1. Information Stored Locally

Spendmio stores your data locally on your device. Depending on how you use the App, this may include:

• Financial records: expenses, income, budgets, subscriptions, transaction history, and category data.
• Receipt scan results: amounts, merchants, and dates extracted from receipts you scan or select.
• App settings and preferences: currency, reminders, notification settings, Face ID / Touch ID lock, and learning data used to improve on-device suggestions.
• AI and insights data: spending patterns, health score, stress estimates, and behavioral insights generated on your device.
• Purchase status: subscription or Pro unlock state provided by Apple StoreKit. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

2. On-Device Processing

The following features run locally on your device and do not send your financial data to our servers:

• Receipt OCR (camera and photo library)
• Category suggestions and smart tags
• Financial health score and spending insights
• Stress estimates and anomaly checks
• On-device AI chat (when supported by your device)

3. iCloud Backup

If you enable iCloud Backup, Spendmio stores a private backup snapshot in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. This data remains in your iCloud account and is not accessible to us.

4. Device Permissions

• Camera and Photos: used only when you scan a receipt or choose a receipt image for expense entry.
• Notifications: used for budget alerts, subscription reminders, and digest notifications when you enable them.
• Face ID / Touch ID: used only to lock the App when you enable App Lock.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not upload your financial data to our servers. We may share limited information only in these circumstances:

• With Apple services for in-app purchases, subscriptions, and entitlement validation.
• With Apple iCloud / CloudKit when you choose to enable iCloud Backup.
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights and users.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your financial data remains on your device until you edit, export, or delete it. We use reasonable technical measures to protect the App, but no electronic storage method is completely secure. You can further protect your data by enabling Face ID / Touch ID lock within the App.

7. Financial Disclaimer

Spendmio is a personal finance tracking tool. It is not financial advice and is not a substitute for professional financial consultation. We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on App data.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Your Choices

You can change app settings, notification permissions, and device permissions at any time through the App or your device settings. You can export or delete your data from the App where supported.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the latest update date.
