The Reverie Team ("we," "our," or "us") is deeply committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Reverie Journal application (the "App").

Our core philosophy: Your journal is yours. We cannot read it, and we do not want to.

1. Your Data is Stored Offline and Locally

Reverie is designed to be an offline-first application. All of your core personal data is stored locally on your device's internal storage.

• Journal Entries & Media: Your text, photos, voice recordings, moods, and tags are stored strictly on your device. We do not transmit, collect, or store this content on our servers.
• iCloud Sync: If you choose to enable iCloud Sync, your data is securely synchronized across your devices using Apple's CloudKit framework. Your data remains in your private iCloud account, which is secured by Apple. We have zero access to your iCloud data.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Because of our privacy-first architecture, there are many things we simply do not collect:

• We do not collect your name, email, or phone number within the app.
• We do not require you to create an account or password with us.
• We do not track your journal contents, location, or private photos.
• We do not sell or share any personal information with third parties.

3. Information Collected by Apple

While we don't collect your data, Apple may collect certain information to provide platform services:

• In-App Purchases: If you purchase a Reverie Plus subscription, Apple processes your payment. We receive anonymous receipts to validate your premium status, but we never see your credit card or billing details.
• App Analytics: If you have opted-in to share analytics with developers in your iOS settings, Apple provides us with anonymous, aggregated crash reports and usage statistics to help us improve app stability.

4. Data Security

We rely on iOS's robust security features to protect your data. You can further secure your journal by enabling the App Lock feature (Face ID, Touch ID, or Passcode) within Reverie's settings. Please remember that the security of your data also depends on the physical security of your device and your Apple ID credentials.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the latest update date. Significant changes in how we handle privacy will be communicated within the App.
