Home Inventory Tracker ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Home Inventory Tracker application (the "App").

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect or store the following information:

• Home inventory data: item names, categories, values, purchase details, locations, notes, condition, warranty details, maintenance history, and insurance readiness information.
• Photos and documents: item photos, receipts, certificates, warranties, insurance documents, PDF reports, and other files you choose to add to the App.
• Profile and preference data: household name, display name, currency, language, appearance, reminder settings, backup settings, iCloud sync preference, and app preferences.
• Device information: device model, operating system version, app version, and technical diagnostics used to maintain app stability.
• Purchase status: subscription or premium unlock state provided by Apple StoreKit. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• Notification permission state: whether item, warranty, maintenance, or reminder notifications are enabled on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

• Provide inventory tracking, item details, document storage, reminders, backup and restore, reports, and optional iCloud sync.
• Personalize the App based on your currency, language, household, and preference settings.
• Maintain premium access and restore eligible purchases.
• Improve app quality, fix bugs, and understand general app usage.
• Respond to support requests and user feedback.

3. Inventory, Documents, and Backup Data

The App is designed to help you organize personal property information. Inventory records, photos, documents, and encrypted backup files may include sensitive information. You control what you add to the App. If you enable iCloud sync, a vault snapshot may be stored in your private iCloud account to sync across your devices.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only in these circumstances:

• With service providers that help us operate, maintain, or improve the App.
• With Apple services for in-app purchases, subscriptions, entitlement validation, iCloud sync, and device-level services you choose to enable.
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights and users.

5. Data Storage and Security

Some App data may be stored locally on your device. Backup files created by the App are encrypted with the passphrase you choose; we cannot recover forgotten backup passphrases. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Choices

You can change app settings, notification permissions, iCloud sync, and device permissions at any time through the App or your device settings. You can also delete local vault data from the App where supported.
