Terms of Use for LockIn

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the LockIn application (the "App") provided by LockIn Labs Pte. Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial productivity and focus purposes on devices you own or control.

2. Service Description and Limits

LockIn helps users reduce distractions by using Apple's Screen Time frameworks to block selected apps, categories, and websites, and to run focus sessions and schedules. LockIn does not guarantee blocking is impossible to bypass because iOS settings and permissions can still be changed by users.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

Some features may require a premium subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Subscription availability, pricing, trial eligibility, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules are determined by Apple and may vary by region.

If a subscription is offered, it may automatically renew unless canceled in your Apple account settings before renewal. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel a subscription. You can use Restore Purchases in the App when available.

4. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.
• Circumvent premium access, purchase validation, Screen Time controls, or app security features.
• Copy, redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the App content without permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation.

5. User Responsibility

You are responsible for your use of the App, your selected lock rules, your device settings, and compliance with applicable laws. The App is designed to add commitment and friction, not to serve as a medical, legal, safety, or emergency-control tool.

6. Updates and Changes

We may update the App, add or remove features, change content, or modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will meet every requirement, remain uninterrupted, be error-free, or prevent all distracting app and website access in every situation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including productivity loss, data loss, subscription issues, or device problems.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or use the App in a harmful or unauthorized way.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
